### Principle of Summation in Marine Engineering
The operation of summation, or addition, is a fundamental mathematical principle that forms the bedrock of countless critical calculations performed onboard a vessel. While seemingly elementary, its correct and diligent application is paramount for ensuring the safety of the vessel, the crew, and the protection of the marine environment. In the context of Marine Engineering Knowledge (MEKG), this operation is integral to load calculations, fuel management, stability assessment, and performance monitoring. An error in a simple summation can lead to catastrophic failures, such as exceeding structural load limits, engine overload, or loss of stability.
### Problem Statement
The candidate is required to determine the sum of two given numerical quantities: 10 and 20.
