**1. Definition:**
The Angle of Loll is the angle of heel to which a vessel with a negative initial metacentric height (GM) will incline in still water. At this angle, the vessel finds a state of neutral equilibrium, having a momentarily zero GZ (righting lever), and will remain heeled without any external force acting upon it.
