Reference Answer

### (a) Basic Logic Gates
Logic gates are the fundamental building blocks of digital circuits. They perform logical operations on one or more binary inputs (0 or 1) to produce a single binary output. A '1' represents a HIGH or TRUE state, while a '0' represents a LOW or FALSE state.
#### 1. AND Gate
* **Concept**: The output of an AND gate is HIGH (1) only if **ALL** of its inputs are HIGH (1). If any input is LOW (0), the output will be LOW (0).
