Reference Answer

### (a) Two-Ram Hydraulic Steering Gear with Hunting Gear
**System Description:**
A two-ram electro-hydraulic steering gear consists of a tiller arm keyed to the rudder stock. The tiller is moved by two opposing hydraulic rams, each housed in a cylinder. These cylinders are connected by hydraulic piping to a variable delivery pump, typically a Hele-Shaw (radial piston) or swash plate (axial piston) type, driven by a constant speed electric motor. A telemotor receiver (or electronic control unit) receives the command signal from the bridge and initiates the steering action.
