Reference Answer

### (a) Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL)
Kirchhoff's Current Law, also referred to as Kirchhoff's First Law or the Law of Conservation of Charge, is a fundamental principle used in the analysis of electrical circuits.
**1. Statement of the Law:**
The law states that the algebraic sum of all currents entering and leaving a junction (or node) in an electrical circuit is equal to zero. Alternatively, it can be stated as: the sum of currents entering a node is equal to the sum of currents leaving that same node.
